Silkolene Pro Boost Octane Booster In 1 Litre
Pro Boost from Silkolene is a high performance octane improver that is also designed to prevent pre-ignition or “knocking”. Due to its’ unique lead-free formula, Pro Boost enhances combustion, reduces upper cylinder wear and burns cleanly without leaving deposits in the combustion chamber. Throttle response is improved and helps to reduce heavy exhaust gas pollution when the engine is cold.
Pro Boost is also compatible with all forms of petrol and does not harm fuel hoses or filters. Available in a 1 litre bottle, mix at 1-3% of the total fuel for the best results.
PRO BOOST has been successfully tested in a wide variety of car and motorcycle engines, including 2-stroke. It is suitable for all petrol engines and all types of fuel. A highly efficient octane improver specifically designed to combat pre-ignition - often called 'pinking' or 'knocking'.
PRO BOOST is effective from 1% to 3% addition levels, octane number improvement depends on fuel characteristics, however, a dosage of 1.5% can be expected to give an increase in Motor Octane Number (MON) of 0.5 to 2 units with most fuels. Accidental overdosing will have no adverse effects.

Acceleration will be improved by using PRO BOOST since pre-ignition during that phase can be severe. A further advantage of PRO BOOST is that it will reduce fuel system corrosion. PRO BOOST does not affect mixture settings making carburettor adjustment unnecessary. It is fully compatible with all petrols and does not attack fuel hoses or filters.
